Yorkshire fittings develops Modular approach to valve flexibility

Yorkshire Fittings has launched a comprehensive range of commercial valves for every application. The launch of the Proflow range marks a rebrand of the company’s valves and controls products as part of a programme of expanding the product range. The launch of the Proflow brand coincides with the launch of Proflow Modular, a multi-functional valve system for indoor climate control in commercial buildings. Proflow Modular is a bespoke system made up of a number of interlinked valves and components which are assembled into a complete unit that allows connection, commissioning, regulation, isolation, flushing and draining. One end of the completed unit connects to the main pipework system, and the other end is linked to a terminal unit. The extent of choice of Proflow Modular and with options such as ability to specify flow and return centre spacing are seen as valuable options to installers. Helen Samways, product manager for Proflow, says, ‘The Proflow brand strengthens Yorkshire Fittings’ position as a major player in the commercial valves section. The new brand name was chosen as it signifies Proflow’s attributes — professional and proven range of products.’ Other products in the range include venturi commissioning valves, Ballofix isolating valves, Ballomax steel ball valves and Linevalves — butterfly valves, check valves and strainers for HVAC, commercial water and gas applications.
