Emergency luminaire also provides downlighting

Published:  18 February, 2006

Downlighting and illuminated exit signs are provided from a single lamp by the JSB Waylite emergency luminaire.

A dual-function self-contained emergency luminaire that combines downlighting with an evenly illuminated exit sign is available from Cooper Lighting & Security. The JSB Waylight provides both functions from the same lamp. The number of fittings required is minimised and overall installation costs reduced.

An exceptionally high level of threshold light is provided over the surrounding floor area.

Supplied with an 8 W T5 fluorescent lamp and a universal legend kit, Waylight provides a 3 hour duration in maintained or non-maintained mode. It can be specified with stand-alone or Easicheck automatic testing functionality if required.
