Chalmor’s managing director Steven Henry celebrates his company winning a £40 000 grant to develop an innovative programmable electronic radiator valve.

Chalmor has been awarded a £40 000 grant by Shell Springboard towards the development of an innovative programmable electronic thermostatic radiator valve (eTRV). This device will be low-cost and easy to install and offer the potential to achieve a 25% reduction in heating bills for many homes and small businesses.

Steven Henry, managing director of Chalmor, says, ‘Our eTRV kit will be sensibly priced and very simple to retrofit to a radiator. We are now working hard to bring this exciting new product to market as soon as possible.’
