Partnering code of practice

The Chartered Institute of Building has launched a new code of practice for partnering in the construction industry. Partnering is seen as the most effective way of tackling construction projects, and this guide explains how clients and construction firms using partnering can achieve higher levels of efficiency and certainty to provide world-class buildings. Chris Blythe, CIOB chief executive, explains, ‘The new partnering cost of practice is a practical guide to enable firms to improve their joint performance through adopting partnering. This report captures the essence of partnering and how it can enable the industry to focus on improving its joint performance while providing more certainty in the construction process in terms of cost, time and quality.
