New inverter air-conditioning units from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries achieve the Class A standard for energy efficiency.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has added high-performance inverters to its range of energy-efficient packaged air-conditioning systems for the commercial sector. They are said to achieve energy savings of up to 40% and lower noise levels. They operate with R410A.

The weight of the outdoor units has been reduced by 46%, their volume by up to 72% and the footprint by 35%. The introduction of a high-efficiency DC fan motors and a compact, more efficient DC scroll compressor enhances performance. Reducing the size of the heat exchanger means that fewer circuits are needed, and redesigning the fins to be straight reduces air-pressure loss in the heat exchangers.

These new inverter systems have cooling capacities from 1.5 to 28 kW and are available from 3D, part of the HRP Group.
