Professional kitchen ventilation

Xpelair offers a range of kitchen extractors for professional applications in its ChefX range. These units are designed for continuous, heavy-duty and demanding use. There are three models. Tempo has an extract rate of 400 m3/h. Presto is rated at 2200 m3/h. The largest unit is the Mezzo, at 2800 m3/h at 100 Pa. All models have commercial-duty filters and built-in high-pressure centrifugal fans discharging direct to atmosphere or to connected ductwork. ChefX Tempo has integral lighting, washable GSM mesh filters, top outlet and built-in isolator and speed control with ‘on’ light. The Mezzo has a top-centre outlet to accept rectangular or circular ductwork and centrifugal double-inlet fan and scroll assembly. Motor speed can be controlled. Presto offers all the features of Mezzo, but for smaller air volumes. Related articles:
