Dual-circuit condensing unit from Airedale addresses space and noise issues

The UCCU condensing unit developed by Airedale for use with its AlphaCool close-control system has dual circuits — reducing space requirements and noise levels.

In response to customer requests, Airedale has developed an outdoor condensing unit with dual circuits — taking up less space and making less noise than two condensing units.

The air-cooled Ultima Compact Condensing Unit (UCCU) has a sound-pressure level of 42 dB(A) at 10 m, compared with 56 dB(A) for two standard condensing units. Linking a UCCU with the dual-circuit AlphaCool close-control system enables Airedale to offer intelligent, direct-expansion systems with improved energy efficiency and high ambient operation.

These systems offer cooling capacities from 65 to 90 kW.

Multi-configured options can be mixed and matched, based on three AlphaCool models (65, 80 and 90 kW) and three UCCUs (50, 70 and 80 kW).
