Xpelair inline fans deliver high pressure and high efficiency

Xpelair’s XPress range of duct fans develops very high pressures, enabling significantly smaller ductwork to be used than conventional inline fans. These fans comprise a dynamically balanced mixed-flow impeller and bell-mouth entry, with minimised clearance to ensure optimum pressure development. Air is transferred through a meridian channel to enter a static 3-dimensional guide vane. This dihedral twist retains a third of the pressure build up that would otherwise be lost. Efficient air management virtually eliminates noise from air turbulence and vibration. The1400 m3/h at 200 Pa delivered by an XPress 250 mm fan is double the volume of an equivalent-diameter centrifugal inline fan and 50% higher than a 315 mm-diameter fan. XPress fans are the same diameter as the ductwork and require simple flexible connections, not flanges. The mounting foot is fitted in the factory. These fans can run at any angle. Related articles:
