Plastic pipe can be detected with metal detector

Because MultiSkin flexible pipe from Comap includes an aluminium layer, it complies with the NHBC standard that it can be detected behind walls with a metal detector.

This pipe is of a 3-layer construction with the aluminium between two PEX plastic layers.

MultiSkin pipe is available in rolls and straight lengths. It can be supplied pre-insulated or with a corrugated cover. It is substantially lighter than metal equivalents.
