Lochinvar gets five stars at new youth hostel
Published: December 2006
The new flagship youth hostel in Whitby, which offers accommodation for a hundred people has its water-heating requirements met by two gas-fired, wall-hung, modulating condensing boilers supplied by Lochinvar. These CP-M120 boilers can achieve up to 109.5% efficiency and have robust, compact stainless-steel heat exchangers. They were specified by Brentwood Design Partnership of Harrogate and installed by Geoffrey Robinson Ltd. All components are accessible from the front for servicing. Built-in cascade control is a standard feature, enabling two boilers to be optimised. Flue options include concentric or twin-pipe balanced flues. This hostel is due to open in spring 2007 in a Grade 1 listed building next to Whitby Abbey. Related articles: |
