Installed indoors and against the outside wall of a building, the Multi V Space from LG opens up new possibilities for VRF air conditioning.

New possibilities for siting the ‘outdoor’ units of VRF air-conditioning systems are opened by LG’s Multi V Space. These units can be sited indoors close to an external louvred wall or grille. The can also be installed inside a building with ducting to an external aspect or, even, outdoors.

Multi V units are entirely inverter driven — both compressors and fan motors — and are said to be up to 10 dB(A) quieter than conventional systems of equivalent capacity. They are only available as heat-pump units.

Sirocco fans reject heat away from the outdoor unit to one or both sides, depending on the unit, to prevent short cycling between air on and air off.

A single Multi V Space unit can control up to 16 indoor units (10 hp model) or eight units (5 hp model). They can be controlled via the Internet, a PC, a deluxe of simple central controller.
