Ridi luminaires come closer to natural daylight

Style and the effects of natural light are combined in Ridi’s Vision-Vival suspended luminaires, which use the Philips ActiViva lamps.

Described by Ridi as a highly distinctive and stylish suspended luminaire, the Vision-Viva is designed for commercial offices, schools, hospitals and all types of public environment. It has a novel daylight-effect panel design and is supplied with Philips ActiViva lamps to ‘energise’ the lit surroundings. These luminaires have been created by Storp Design of Germany.

The front panel is optimised for use with ActiViva and daylight tubes and has a transparent metalised-backed lens to create a natural skylight effect once it is edge lit by the 17000 K colour-enhanced daylight tubes.

These luminaires deliver both direct and indirect lighting and have integral switching to provide independent control of downward and upward light levels. Three T5 Activa lamps are fitted, one of which delivers light upwards.

The efficiency, design and performance of Vision-Viva allows wide spacings with very uniform lighting distribution.
