Holiday park enjoys the benefits of continuous-flow water heaters

Not only is the requirement for hot water at this holiday park in north Wales being met more effectively since the installation of Rinnai Infinity water heaters, but energy costs have been reduced by 30%.

Faced with its traditional storage system for hot water being unable to cope with demand at peak times, a holiday centre in north Wales has installed Rinnai Infinity continuous-flow water heaters fuelled by LPG.

Four Infinity units have been installed at Abererch Sands near Pwllheli, one each for three separate shower blocks and one for washing and laundry. The unit for the laundry is set to deliver water at 60°C and those for the shower blocks at 40°C to avoid the risk of scalding.

Operating at mains pressure, these water heaters can provide high flow rates and accurate temperature control.

Keith Dunne, the owner of the park, says, ‘Rinnai’s Infinity heaters have benefited the park in many ways. Feedback from our customers has been extremely positive, and we are enjoying fuel-cost savings in the region of 30%.’
