Merlin standardises its price for servicing generators

Merlin Power Management has introduced a fixed-price for its Powercare of service contracts — regardless of the size of the generator. The package includes all call-outs, mileage, technical support and a rapid response to urgent calls. The only extras are consumables and spare parts. This fixed-price package enables customers to budget their generator services 12 months in advance and deviates from the industry’s normal pricing practice that is based on the size of the generator — with mileage, call-out and labour charged as extras. Merlin Power Management offers a full range of services that include service and maintenance of generators and UPS, rental, refuelling, installation/commissioning and project management. The company also provides load-bank testing, power analysis and consultancy, fuel management/tank bunding as well as routine and emergency maintenance of LV switchgear and ACB systems.
