Communal heating achieves low carbon footprint
Published: August 2007
A single Geminox condensing boiler with an output of 100 kW serves 21 apartments in Vincent Square, London, for the Dominion Housing Group via 21 Geminox Modusat Satellite heating units. The design of the Modusat unit is said to use only half as much energy as plate heat exchangers, contributing to a low carbon footprint for this project. Evinox, the UK partner of Geminox boilers, will provide the remote monitoring and billing of the energy and water consumption using heat and water meters built into each Modusat.
