Alldales is supplying, installing and commissioning 50 inverter drives for air-handling units and plant-room fans serving plots three and four of the More London development on London’s South Bank. Assisting in the rapid completion of the interior infrastructure is the small-form factor of Alldale’s drives, reduced cabling requirements and integration capability.

The site is next to the GLA building and opposite Tower Bridge.

The project is designed to deliver fully serviced, plug-in plots with the necessary infrastructure for occupancy in place. More London also delivers tailored solutions, and these two plots have each been assigned as single-occupancy buildings.

A key requirement for the building system was precision and response — to save energy and provide localised environmental control. Distributed air-handling units fitted with Alldales drives and linked to the main building systems provide infinitely variable control, while matching output to daily and weekly building usage patterns through automation and network integration.
