SES employs the fastest spark in the north
Published: August 2007
Following a fund-raising event at one of the most high-profile projects in the north of England, M&E company SES has given over £13 000 to local charities. Construction workers involved in Bridgewater Place in central Leeds were challenged to race to the top of this 32-storey landmark — over 600 steps. SES electrician Richard Dobson won with a time of 4 min 11 s. The money was donated by 13 contractors involved in the scheme, including SES. As the winner’s employer SES chose three charities, including Leeds-based children’s cancer charity Candlelighters and York against Cancer. |
