New investment enables Sontay to offer a wider range of custom-design user interface devices.

Controls-peripherals specialist Sontay has expanded its UI500 custom-designed user interface devices. Sontay is responding to the needs of architects, who increasingly require aesthetic solutions and uniformity between electrical services, lighting control and air-conditioning. The UI500 series includes semi-flush-mounting temperature and humidity sensor elements to avoid the need for unsightly detectors.

Computerised engraving and micro-milling capabilities reduce production time and price. Faster set-up enables smaller batches to be justified and reduces lead times.

Bespoke devices can be created in a range of shapes and sizes with a wide choice of finishes. Functions can include adjustment, liquid-crystal display, fan-speed selection and on/off selection.
