Instant hot water
Published: October 2004
Continuous supplies of hot water can be delivered by a plate heat exchanger from Beeston Heating at 99% efficiency. With primary water at a nominal 82°C, these units raise cold water from 10 to 60°C. The heat exchanger is installed in a frame with built-in controls to monitor secondary temperature and modulate primary water to maintain a continuous supply. The controls can be linked to any external building-management system. Pumps and mixing valves are already fitted, and secondary circulation pumps can be added. Related articles: |
