ICS mixes the new with the old
Published: October 2004
A technically challenging project involving the design and installation of new plant and controls to operate alongside existing refurbished equipment has been completed by Integrated Control Systems. The project involved building four new control panels to operate new and retained refurbished equipment and a full fit-out of the upper four floors of the 8-storey St Magnus House overlooking the River Thames close to Tower Bridge in London. ICS also created a landlord’s interface with equipment fitted by others on the lower floors, enabling the monitoring of three separate electricity supplies to all the floors and the isolation of chilled and low-pressure hot water and ventilation equipment. Nine riser interfaces were fitted across the development. The contract was awarded by Skanska Rashleigh Weatherfoil. Related articles: |
