Published: December 2007
Fireco has been appointed to run fire-awareness training courses for staff from schools owned and run by GDST (Girls’ Day School Trust), the largest group of independent schools in the UK with 20 000 pupils and over 3500 staff. A review of health-and-safety guidelines identified the need for all employees to have basic fire awareness training to comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (RRFSO). Fireco assists numerous organisations in meeting their responsibilities for fire risk assessment through training and consultancy services, and is fire consultant to the UK’s leading care-sector associations.
