Artificial lighting closely resembles natural daylight
Published:  December 2007

Aura Corporation’s brochure on its Actulite polarised daylighting explains how its emits light closely resembling natural daylight. This is achieved by combining the patented Actulite multi-layered light-polarising filter with high-frequency control gear and specially manufactured triphosphor full-spectrum fluorescent tubes.

The brochure includes comprehensive information and images of this lighting range, which includes ceiling lighting, wall-mounted inspection lighting, desktop task lighting and the Signature range of luminaires developed to meet LG7 standard.

The effect of Actulite lighting is shown in before-and-after images.

Compared with conventional artificial lighting, contrast is said to be increased by 8%. The light is totally glare free and shows everything in true colour.
