Nu-Way on track at St Pancras International
Published: January 2008
Nu-Way modulating gas burners provide 6 MW of heat to serve the space-heating and DHW requirements of the new St Pancras International railway station in London. The XGN 3000 burners have been fitted into three Hartley & Sugden SCP750 Class 1 boilers. The original St Pancras station, with its Victorian architecture and single-span roof, was opened in 1868 and has undergone a major refurbishment to accommodate 400 m-long Eurostar trains. James Sopwith, Nu-Way’s managing director, explains, ‘The Nu-Way burners were chosen for this project as they provide an excellent match to the Hartley & Sugden boiler, specifically to ensure the high level of output and control needed.’ For more information on this story, click here:Jan 08, 134 Related articles: |
