Heat-pump chiller can deliver hot and cold water at the same time

The Rhoss range of EXP heat-pump chillers from Coolmation is a self-contained hybrid system that can produce hot and cold water at the same time, enabling commercial air-conditioning systems to achieve significant savings on capital equipment, design, installation and energy costs. The hot and cold water is delivered through a 4-pipe system. These chillers are available with cooling capacities from 10 to 1000 kW with COPs as high as six. Using these chillers eliminates the need to install a separate boiler, with claimed savings in running costs of up to 35%.
