Vaillant extends its air-conditioning range

Among a host of new heat-pump air-conditioning units from Vaillant are cassettes with outputs from 5 to 14 kW,

Vaillant has upgraded its climaVAIR heat-pump air-conditioning range, with all units using R410A.

The new cassette range comprises two mono inverter units with outputs of 5 and 6.5 kW and three mono on/off units from 8 to 14 kW. Fresh-air and branch duct connections are available on some models.

Every unit has an integral condensate pump, hot-start function to ensure heat is available before the fan starts and self-diagnostic fault display.

The multi-function infra-red remote controller can be converted to a hard-wired controller for the control of up to 16 indoor units and stop/start integration with a BEMS or local building controls.

The climaVAIR plus wall-mounted heat-pump range now comprises three models with DC inverters and outputs from 2.5 to 5 kW. Features include an ultra-violet generator to reduce bacteria in circulated air, a deioniser to improve air freshness and an optional fresh-air kit with heat exchanger.

Completing the wall-mount range is the on-off climaVAIR pro, with four units covering cooling duties from 2.5 to 7 kW. They have 3-stage filtration, bio, cold catalyst and anti-dust layers.

The climaVAIR split-system floor/ceiling range has been extended with two inverter models of 5 and 6.5 kW and two larger on-off systems of 8.5 and 10.5 kW.

Vaillant’s comprehensive warranty is standard on all air-conditioning systems.
