Circulating pumps self regulate to reduce energy consumption
Published:  July 2008

A new range of self-regulating pumps from Smedegaard Pumps is said to save up to 40% more energy than a standard pump.

IsoBar SimFlex pumps adjust automatically to the required duty. When installed in a system with thermostatic radiator valves and operating in the self-regulating mode, these pumps automatically vary their speed and power consumption.

These pumps have a click-in electrical connection and are simple to install and flexible in operation. They have stainless--steel internal parts and carbon bearings.

The cost is almost the same as a standard non-self-regulating pump.
