Energy-performance software approved for use in Scotland

Elmhurst Energy’s latest energy-assessment software has passed tests by BRE. The company’s manager in Scotland Arthur Watt (pictured) says that the web-based RDSAP 15.x software is approved for use in Scotland to produce Energy Performance Certificates for existing buildings.

This software can be used by accredited energy assessors for the following.

•Calculate the SAP rating of an existing building.

•Calculate the environmental-impact rating.

•Calculate energy use.

•Make recommendations for energy-improvement measures.

•Produce Energy Performance Certificates.
