Heating units deliver warmed fresh air

Freshvector from Dunham Bush combines passive, natural ventilation with the company’s Finvector perimeter heating system. It addresses the need to ensure high air quality with minimum energy consumption in classrooms and many other applications. Specially developed vents with motorised dampers and attenuators are fitted into the wall of the building, allowing fresh air to be drawn in across the high-level heating elements. Fresh air is therefore preheated, and draughts associated with conventional ventilation are eliminated. The dampers are initially controlled by carbon-dioxide concentration in the space, with the option of temperature over-ride. A rain sensor can be incorporated.
