Published: May 2009
Daikin has added a new model to its inverter-driven mini-chiller range, which now covers any cooling/ heating requirement up to 14 kW for the light-commercial and residential markets. The new EWAQ/EWYQ unit delivers some of the best ESEERs (European Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratios) and COPs in the industry. The 3-phase, 9 kW model, for example, achieves an ESEER of 4.73 in cooling mode and COP of up to 3.48 in heating mode. Chilled water can be supplied at temperatures from 5 to 22°C and hot water at 25 to 50°C. These units have an inverter-driven scroll compressor and integrated hydronic kit comprising circulating pump, expansion vessel, safety valves and a standard main switch. The refrigerant charge is less than 3 kg of R410A. For more information on this story, click here: May 09, 164 Related articles: |
