A BREEAM ‘Excellent’ design rating has been achieved for 110 Fetter Lane in London, for which EMCOR is installing the building services.

EMCOR Group’s engineering-services division has won the multi-million contract to install all shell-and-core M&E and public-health services at the 110 Fetter Lane development in central London.

This new 8-storey building is being constructed by main contractor Carillion and will provide 26 000 m2 of office accommodation to replace the existing Rolls House, Arnold House and No. 8 Bream Buildings. It is being developed by Delancey and Invista Real Estate Investment Management.

The design of the building has achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating. The services installation will include CCHP (CHP with cooling), heat recovery, low-NOx condensing boilers, bespoke building-management system and high-efficiency lighting.

Of the space available, 73% has been let significantly ahead of completion, which is scheduled for the first quarter of 2010.
