T-mac Technologies joins Energy Technology List

Published:  11 August, 2009

T-mac’s HVAC system now appears on the Carbon Trust’s Energy Technology List, qualifying for Enhanced Capital Allowances. The t-mac system monitors and controls energy consumption of equipment via the Internet and enables businesses to reduce energy consumption by up to 30%.

The system can, for example, collate energy data from an air-conditioning unit and highlight the energy it is using and wasting unnecessarily, providing recommendations on how to cut carbon emissions further.

Lisa Wilkinson, a director at t-mac Technologies, says, ‘We are delighted that our t-mac system has secured a place on the Carbon Trust’s Energy Technology List. Encouraging businesses to invest in energy-saving equipment is an important element in the fight against climate change.

‘It is important that we educate business that investing in energy-saving equipment goes further than saving money and energy. It is also more tax efficient.’
