Among a host of LG air-conditioning equipment installed in the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff is this Art Cool mirror unit in the lounge.

The continuing development of the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff has seen the installation of LG air-conditioning systems to serve two conference suites with capacities of 300 and 100 and 22 more boxes. The stadium is the headquarters of Glamorgan Cricket and hosted an Ashes Test Match between England and Australia this year.

The Dragon Suite has been fitted with an LG Multi V Plus II heat-pump 2-pipe VRF system. The outdoor unit can provide 45 kW of cooling and serves six ducted fan-coil units with Eco V heat-recovery air-handling unit. The hospitality suites have been supplied with 12 Universal heat-pump inverted ducted split systems.

In the Really Welsh Pavilion, which provides 2500 permanent seats, hospitality suite and houses the Museum of Welsh Cricket, there are three LG Universal Synchro (twin) systems. They comprise six ducted fan-coil units. An EcoV total heat-recovery ventilation unit has also been installed.

All the equipment operates on R410A.
