Grundfos raises the pressure
Published: March 2010
To overcome the problem of low water pressure in small commercial and domestic premises, Grundfos offers an engineered solution in the form of a pressurised hot-and-cold-water system connected to a Grundfos pressure-boosting pump. The boosting products range includes simple on/off controlled single pumps, with or without integral water-storage tank, up to variable-speed constant-pressure packaged sets. Examples include the stainless-steel UPA 15-90N for boosting pressure to one or two outlets and typically adding 0.5 to 0.75 bar to the incoming pressure. Another product is the Max-E Boost packaged set (pictured). The Home Booster is about the size of a refrigerator and is an all-in-one unit with an integral tank. It is suitable for one or two bathrooms and can provide up to 4.5 bar. For more information on this story, click here: March10, 174 Related articles: |
