Giacomini, space heating, heat interface
Giacomini has entered the social-housing market with the launch of a neat interface unit for use with communal heating systems. It is described as providing all the benefits of a combi boiler without the combustion. These compact units (60 cm wide, 73 cm high and 21 cm deep) control and measure the consumption of heating and hot water in apartments and multi-use dwellings supply by communal heating plant. There is no need for hot-water storage.

Landlords can monitor the energy consumption of individual users and the overall system via an interface in the units which used M-Bus communications technology. Units can also be supplied with an optional energy meter so tenants can monitor their energy consumption.
