NG Bailey wins major Scottish hospital project in Aberdeen
Published: September 2010
NG Bailey has been appointed by Robertson Construction Group to deliver M&E and ICT (information communication services) for NHS Grampian’s new Emergency Care Centre at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The contract is worth about £26.5 million and will run for two and a half years. The company will design, install and commission all the M&E services, working with its specialist off-site division to produce some 400 multi-service corridor modules, 10 M&E risers and rooftop and basement plant modules. Aberdeen Royal Infirmary is the largest hospital within NHS Grampian and is on a self-contained 125 acre site. The new Emergency Care Centre will provide patient care covering accident and emergency, acute medical assistance, ward accommodation and primary care out of hours. Related articles: |
