Shepherd Engineering Services has expanded into Scotland with the opening of its third new UK office in recent months. As part of a drive to support its business strategy of working closer with key clients in specific industry sector and to strengthen its position geographically, SES has opened the office in Glasgow.

Colin Walker has been appointed divisional director for Scotland. He has over 25 years’ experience in the industry and was previously with NG Bailey as managing director for Scotland. Other key appointments include Edward McMahon as divisional business manager and Scott Carey as operations manager.

Peter Lewis, chief operating officer, said, ‘This is a really exciting time for SES. For the first time ever we’re able to say that we operate on a truly national level. Our move to Scotland, as well as our recent expansion into Bristol and London, has helped us align our services to those of our customers and ensures that we continue to offer them a comprehensive service, irrespective of where they are in the UK.’
