Titon has added two more models to its range of MVHR (mechanical ventilation with heat recovery) units. The HRV1.75 and HRV 2.75 (illustrated) Q Plus units achieve efficiencies of up to 91% have a specific fan power of 0.41 W/l/s. They are designed for properties with up to six wet rooms. Their performance has been confirmed by independent SAP Q testing by the BRE, and they are also compliant with Energy Saving Trust best practice.

Standard features include extremely quiet and energy-efficient fans and intelligent control. The controller protects against frost and has a Summer mode and Summer boost options to help reduce overheating. An optional extra is an intelligent 100% Summer bypass.

Installation features include a quick-fix mounting bracket, easily adjusted fan speeds, adjustable over-run timer for boost and ports that accept 125 or 150 mm circular ducts with the need for adaptors.
