Control and monitoring company RDM has installed two 20 m-high wind turbines at its Glasgow headquarters. They can deliver up to 30kW of electricity, more than enough for the night-time load, and enough for 60 to 70% of the day-time load. The company had to overcome concerns from the local authority about possible interference with radar serving Glasgow Airport a few miles away.
