Drilling contractor uses ground-source energy to heat his own home

Vaillant, het pump, renewable energy

This Vaillant ground-source heat pump at a farmhouse in Ken qualifies for the Renewable Heat Incentive.

The installation of a 14 kW Vaillant geoTHERM ground-source heat pump has been completed at Waters End Farm in Cranbrook, Kent, for Maurice Bosch, who owns a Vaillant borehole drilling contractor, Geo Tech Developments. He explains, ‘This ground-source heat pump has been installed to provide heating for our farmhouse.’ It replaces an existing system and qualifies for the Renewable Heat Incentive, unlike the previous system.’

Maurice Bosch says, ‘Vaillant has an excellent reputation in the industry — and it’s well deserved. My company, Geo Tech Developments, is a Vaillant borehole drilling contractor, so I was fully aware of the excellent-quality ground-source heat pumps that Vaillant produces. The ground-source heat pump has been installed to provide heating for our farmhouse.’
