KNX room thermostat

KNX, controls, BMS, BEMS

IMP, a member of the KNX UK Association, now offers the Vimar KNX room thermostat for heating and air-conditioning applications to the UK market. It can interact with other thermostats and with a supervision centre such as a PC in the reception or plant area of a building.

These thermostats can control two temperature zones independently and control the operation of heating/air-conditioning systems based on the average of the temperatures measured by the thermostat’s temperature sensors.

The thermostat is provided with a programmable relay that can be used for generic applications such as switching on lights, closing a zone solenoid valve or activating an electric towel heating.

A programmable digital input can be used for applications such as detecting an open window.

Using the front buttons on the thermostat, the temperature for the room can be set and also to control the speed of the fan-coil unit.

Operating range is -5 to +45°C indoors, with a reading accuracy within ±0.5 K from 15 to 30°C and ±0.8 K at other temperatures.
