Heat recovery ventilation for en-suite bathrooms

Johnson & Starley, heat recovery ventilation

Johnson & Starley’s Q-Vent HRC 8x3 system provides mechanical ventilation to en-suite bedrooms in hotels and similar establishments and features high-efficiency EC fan technology. The system is designed to provide continuous extraction via ductwork and grilles. Running costs are low, and sound levels are exceptionally low.

Heat is recovered from extract air and transferred to incoming air. The ventilation rate will increase when the bathroom has been used for more than two minutes by the unit switching to boost mode.

These units are available in top- or bottom-opening versions. The internal faces of the metal case are acoustically lined with flame-retardant acoustic foam to minimise noise.
