Passive Cooling Thermal Energy Storage (TES)

PCM, passive cooling, phase change, energy storage

TES is the temporary storage of thermal energy for later use, bridging the gap between energy availability and energy use. Overnight cool energy is stored in the form of 20-27°C phase-change-material (PCM) filled containers and later utilised to absorb the internal and solar heat gains during day-time for an energy free passive cooling system.

This technology offers environmentally friendly, short pay back, maintenance- and energy-free cooling solutions which can be applied to both new or existing buildings.
