G&H wins M&E work for 17-storey refurbishment

G&H Building Services has won the £4 million M&E contract for the redevelopment of Colliers Wood Tower in south-west London for Merton Council. The work involves core M&E services as 173 apartments are overhauled. Included in the work is a centralised heating system that will feed individual boiler interface units in the 17-storey building. The contract is with JJ Rhatigan & Co.

Graham Kelly, managing director at G&H Building Services (pictured) said, ‘We have a strong relationship with JJ Rhatigan & Co,, delivering M&E schemes across the UK for their developments for many hears. This is a large project that will be challenging due to the tower being 17 storeys high, but we have great experience completing complex schemes of this important nature.’

This redevelopment project will see the tower converted into modern apartments, with shops on the ground floor.
