Wieland Electric does ‘grate’ job at 122 Leadenhall Street

Wieland, electricity, modular wiring

Wieland Electric’s Metalynx2 modular wiring system has been installed in office space in the ‘Cheesegrater’ in London, more formally know as 122 Leadenhall Street. The system was installed by M&E contractor PhoenixME to connect power and lighting MDBs, which in turn feed LCMs and fan-coil units in the office space.

The Metalynx2 system was delivered to site pre-wired and pre-tested for quick installation.

Simon Collingbourne, operations director with PhoenixME, commented, ‘Wieland provided service from conception to installation and provided fully detailed drawings that were converted to an order very quickly.

‘The delivery programme was agreed and adhered to to allow us to install efficiently. The product offered the flexibility to relocate based on the inevitable changes encountered on site.’
