Among the features of Vaillant air-conditioning units installed at Bankfield Surgery at Elland in Yorkshire is a health setting, which ionises particles and filters the air to remove airborne contaminants and bacteria — a feature that is said to be well suited to medical establishments. Eight wall-mounted climaVAIR units with high-efficiency inverter condensing units provide 32. kW of cooling and heating. This range of air-conditioning units uses R410A as the refrigerant and has an A rating for energy efficiency. There are three stages of filtration — anti-microbial, anti-dust and activated carbon.
