Prepared for expansion, Paul Greenough has led the management buy-out of EHS International, backed by Bank of Scotland Corporate, and is pictured with Tony Buchan, director of Bank of Scotland Corporate.
Following the management buy-out of EHS International, a distributor of air-treatment products based in Manchester, the company is acquiring additional warehouse and office space with over £1 million of funding from Bank of Scotland Corporate. Managing director Paul Greenough led the MBO, with his team of Peter Davis, Dave Lyon, Theo Vicas and David Hughes, after former chairman Ivan Forgacs retired from the business and wanted to sell his stake in the organisation, which has an annual turnover of £14 million. Paul Greenough says, ‘The deal means that I can take the business forward and continue the long-standing relationships we have with retailers and trade customers across the UK.’ EHS was established over 17 years ago as an importer and distributor of air-treatment products — including portable air conditioners, dehumidifiers, air purifiers, coolers and fans. The company aims to supply everything needed to condition the air in any domestic or office environment. Tony Buchan, director of Bank of Scotland Corporate in Manchester, says, ‘The business is a long-standing customers of ours and one which Bank of Scotland Corporate has supported for a number of years. The MBO is great news for all concerned and will see the future really take shape for EHS.’
