Hydroflame connects like a radiator but looks like an open fire. It is fan assisted to circulate heat around the room. The flame effect creates a focal point, even when the heating is off. An electric heating element is included in dual models to provide heat when the central heating is off.
Martin Powell, heating services officer at WCBC, says, ‘We have been using the Smith's Hydroflame for a few years as part of our continued capital heating improvement works. The flame-effect radiator provides tenants with a focal point, as well as reducing future servicing and revenue budgets. Importantly, each unit has a 5-year warranty.’
