Adjustable bypass valve for central-heating systems

Designed to maintain a minimum flow in central-heating systems when all TRVs are closed is Altecnic’s Eres adjustable bypass valve. |
An adjustable bypass valve from Altecnic for central-heating systems prevents the pump working against a closed circuit when all control or thermostatic radiator valves are close. The Eres valve ensure a flow recirculation proportional to the number of valves closed, while limiting the maximum differential pressure generated by the pump.
In systems with a traditional boiler, the valve would normally be fitted between the system flow and return ends, allowing the pressure to be controlled and the passage of a minimum flow through the heat generators.
In systems with a condensing boiler, it is preferable to fit the valve directly between the upstream and downstream sections of the pump.
An Eres valves is adjusted by a calibrated cap.
