Condensing floor-standing boilers achieve low NOx emissions

MHS
Ferroli has extended its range of sustainable energy products with air-to-water heat pumps.
The Ultramax R600 range of condensing, gas-fired, floor-standing boilers from MHS Boilers comprises seven models with outputs from 150 to 570 kW with ‘best-in-class’ NOx emissions and efficiencies of up to 109%. These boilers use a proven water-cooled down-firing pre-mix burner system with a stainless-steel heat exchanger. NOx emissions are less than 35 mg/kWh, which easily exceeds the requirements for the best BREEAM score. An optional annual service agreement extends the guarantee from five to 10 years. Ultramax boilers pass through doors 670 mm or wider and have a footprint from 0.74 m2. Each boiler has two return connections for systems with different return temperatures. The boilers can be installed individually or in multiple/ cascade and can modulate down to 15% of full load.
