When installed with an air-conditioning system, the air-conditioning load is reduced by 20% compared to regular ventilation.
The improvement translates to a reduced vertical profile of the heat-exchange element, from 287 to 230 mm, which also makes the units quieter in operation.
The compact counter-flow element has a plastic frame and large air passages to resist clogging. The element and non-woven cloth filter require cleaning just once or twice a year to maintain optimum efficiency.
Six models provide ventilation rates from 250 to 1000 m3/h. They are 270 or 338 mm deep, according to capacity. Noise levels are less than 32 dB(A) for units up to 500 m3/h on the high setting, with 37.5 dB(A) for the 1000 m3/h model.
